Sage Care can automatically process referral emails from Caring.com and A Place for Mom (AgingCare.com) when they are forwarded to your organization's unique inbound email address. Follow these steps to set up automatic forwarding rules in Outlook.

Before You Begin

You'll need your Sage Care inbound email address.

→ In the Sage Care web portal (app.sagecare.ai) navigate to Settings → Referrals

→ Copy your unique inbound email address (e.g. [email protected])

Instructions

  1. Create a forwarding rule for Caring.com referrals

    1. Open Outlook on the web and click the Settings gear icon (⚙) in the top right
    2. Navigate to Mail → Rules
    3. Click Add new rule
    4. Give the rule a name, e.g. Forward Caring.com referrals to Sage Care
    5. Under Add a condition, select From and enter: [email protected]
    6. Under Add an action, select Forward to and enter your Sage Care inbound email address
      1. Outlook may require you to verify your login again by receiving a code via email or text. Follow the instructions they provide.
    7. Click Save
  2. Create a forwarding rule for A Place for Mom / AgingCare referrals

    1. Repeat steps 1–8 above, but enter [email protected] in the From field
    2. Give the rule a name, e.g. Forward AgingCare referrals to Sage Care
  3. You're done!

    Referral emails from Caring.com and A Place for Mom will now be automatically forwarded to Sage Care and processed as new referrals. You can view them under the Email Referrals tab in your Sage Care inbox.
