Before this, there was no place in Sage to jot a quick note on a prospect or client. If you wanted a reminder to follow up, or context from a conversation, you had to keep it in your head or track it in a separate spreadsheet outside Sage.
Every Client, Contact, and Referrer profile now has a Description field: a free-text notes box, with no character limit, right on the record. It's useful when:
If your team currently tracks follow-ups or prospect context outside Sage, in a spreadsheet, a notebook, or just memory, this replaces that workaround. If you don't track this kind of informal note today, you may not need to change anything.
1. Find the Description column in the Clients, Contacts, or Referrers list

Open Clients, Contacts, or Referrers from the left nav. The Description column sits between Status and Related Contacts, so you can see which records already have a note without opening anything.
