Why this matters

Before OmniSearch, finding one record in Sage meant knowing exactly where to look, and teams often lost time hunting for something they knew existed somewhere in their organization’s dashboard.

OmniSearch adds one global search bar that finds the answer to your question from anywhere. It's useful when you're asking any of these questions:

Does this fit your organization?

This is on for every organization already. There's nothing to opt into and nothing to configure.

<aside> ℹ️

This is different from the search bars already on your Clients, Contacts and Referrers list pages. Those still work the same way and are meant for searching that one list by status, type, or sort order. OmniSearch is for finding one specific record or mention anywhere in your account, not just inside a list you're currently viewing.

How to set it up

<aside> ℹ️

OmniSearch works the same way on web and mobile, everything you can search and how you search it is identical on both platforms.

On web

1. Open the search bar

Click the search bar at the top of any page, or press Command K. It's available everywhere in Sage, and shows a reminder of what it searches: clients, contacts, referrers, calls, recordings, care plans, and emails.
